Launched through a direct partnership between Indigenous Tourism Manitoba (ITM) and The Forks North Portage Partnership, the space serves as ITM’s signature urban discovery hub. Located at a historic gathering place with more than 6,000 years of Indigenous heritage, Explore Indigenous provides a vital downtown platform for independent operators and artisans to showcase handcrafted goods, connect directly with travelers, and serve as the home base for guided ventures including Turtle Tours.
