Course Curriculum

Step 1 introduces participants to the core tenets of Indigenous tourism, ethics, and professional communication:

Introduction to Manitoba’s Indigenous tourism landscape
Cultural intellectual property and storytelling protocols
Customer service excellence and hospitality standards
Risk management fundamentals and emergency awareness

Eligibility & Prerequisites

Open to Indigenous individuals (First Nations, Métis, Inuit) residing in Manitoba who are passionate about sharing their culture and heritage:

Minimum 18 years of age
Interest in outdoor, cultural, or adventure tourism
Commitment to completing training modules
