The national gala celebrated excellence, sustainability, and cultural leadership among Indigenous tourism operators from coast to coast to coast.

Indigenous Tourism Manitoba (ITM) achieved a major national milestone at the gala, winning the prestigious Provincial or Territorial Association of the Year Award in recognition of its exceptional leadership, operator development, and advocacy across the province. In addition, it was officially announced that Winnipeg, Manitoba will host the 2027 International Indigenous Tourism Conference under the theme ‘Heart of Turtle Island’. ITM CEO Holly Spence celebrated the upcoming gathering, which ITM will co-host in partnership with Travel Manitoba and Winnipeg Economic Development & Tourism to showcase Manitoba’s vibrant Indigenous heritage on the global stage.
